About the club
Raspberry Fields is a site located on Mangrove Mountain within the National Forest, managed by Bara Barang. The facilities situated along the 650m walking trail have been designed to allow people to interact with the landscape and Aboriginal culture.
The Bara Barang program, Dream Builders, promotes school completion to Year 12 and transition to further education, vocational training and employment.
With the Dream Builders’ vision, Raspberry Fields provides a unique opportunity for all people to participate in learning, growing, connecting and healing on Darkinjung Country, incorporating Aboriginal knowledge.
We offer a range of educational programs, events and on Country experiences including the following:
Training facility
Engage your student learning on Country, connecting to people and Country.
School excursions
Take students on Country to learn and connect with the traditional.
Corporate events
Join traditional custodians for team-building activities, cultural awareness and immersion sessions, and professional development.
Cultural performances
Hire our venue or let Bara Barang arrange performances including dance, art, singing and storytelling.

Directions to events
Located at Mangrove Mountain, in the McPherson State Forest, at the end of Waratah Road and is easily accessible from Sydney, to Newcastle and beyond.

- Parramatta – 1 hr 10 minutes
- Polkolbin – 1 hr 20 minutes
